Scam Alert! Domain Registry of America is at it again. These guys are true scum bags in my opinion. If you have a domain name chances are you have gotten a letter in the mail from these guys. They say your domain is up for renewal and the charge is always more then what you originally pay. Some unsuspecting people, even one of my customers has sent in a payment only to find out down the road that the domain name was never renewed. And when you call them they give you the run around saying you would have had to transfer the domain to them in order for them to renew it for you.

I just got an email this morning explaining to me that a transfer of a domain I manage for one of my customers has been requested and that all I need to do to agree to the transfer is accept the terms of service. OF COURSE I WONT.

All I can say is - Beware of this Scam,,, because that is what it is!
